Effective September 21, 2026
Plain-language summary. We collect the information needed to quote, schedule, perform, document, bill, and support pest-control and lawn services. We do not sell personal information for money. We use service providers such as Fieldwork, payment processors, website hosting/analytics providers, communications providers, and accounting professionals to operate the business.
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy describes how Pest Arrest Exterminator LLC ("Pest Arrest," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, protects, and retains personal information through pestarrest.org, the Pest Arrest customer portal, estimates, service authorizations, work orders, invoices, telephone calls, text messages, email, and in-person service.
2. Information we collect
• Contact and account information: name, service and billing addresses, email, telephone number, customer/account number, portal credentials, and communication preferences.
• Service information: pest observations, photographs, property access instructions, gate/alarm information voluntarily provided, occupants or pets relevant to safe service, preparation status, service history, recommendations, signatures, and customer communications.
• Transaction information: estimates, service authorizations, invoices, payment status, refunds, discounts, and the last four digits or tokenized identifiers supplied by a payment processor. We do not intentionally store full payment-card numbers in our own records.
• Connected accounting information: when an authorized business owner connects QuickBooks Online, we may receive company, customer, vendor, account, invoice, payment, expense, balance, and transaction information within the permissions approved during connection. We do not request payroll, employee, tax-return, or full payment-card data unless a later feature clearly discloses that need and receives separate authorization.
• Device and website information: IP address, browser/device type, pages viewed, referral source, cookie choices, and aggregated analytics.
• Communications: calls, emails, portal messages, appointment confirmations, text-message replies, and consent/opt-out records.
3. How we use information
We use personal information to provide quotes and services; identify pests and site conditions; schedule and route technicians; comply with pesticide labels and legal recordkeeping; send service, safety, billing, and appointment communications; process payments; administer the customer portal; investigate complaints and re-service requests; maintain security; improve operations; and comply with law, licensing, insurance, tax, and accounting requirements.
4. How we disclose information
We may disclose information to vendors that support our operations, including Fieldwork or successor customer-management platforms, payment processors, website/hosting and analytics providers, telecommunications providers, accounting and legal professionals, insurers, product manufacturers when needed for safety or claims, and government or regulatory authorities when required. We may also disclose information in connection with a merger, financing, sale, or transfer of business assets, subject to applicable safeguards.
We do not sell personal information for money and do not knowingly sell sensitive personal information. We do not use personal information to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects concerning housing, lending, employment, education, insurance, health care, or access to basic necessities.
5. Cookies and analytics
Our website and hosting provider may use necessary cookies and aggregated analytics to operate the site, remember preferences, measure traffic, and improve performance. Browser controls and the website cookie banner may allow you to limit nonessential cookies. Disabling cookies may affect site functionality.
6. Text messages and email
Operational messages may include appointment reminders, arrival notices, service updates, invoices, payment notices, and customer-requested responses. Consent and opt-out terms are described in the SMS Consent & Messaging Policy. We do not send marketing texts without any consent required by applicable law.
7. Retention and security
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for service, warranty, licensing, pesticide-use, tax, accounting, insurance, dispute, and legal purposes. Retention periods vary by record type. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to a small service business, but no system is completely secure.
8. Your choices and privacy requests
You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information, or to obtain information about how it is used, by emailing PestarrestExterminator@gmail.com or calling (512) 757-9914. We may authenticate a request and may retain information required for legal, safety, accounting, fraud-prevention, warranty, or service-record purposes. Where applicable law provides additional rights or an appeal process, we will honor those requirements. You may also opt out of nonessential email or text communications using the instructions in the message.
9. Children
Our services and website are directed to adults arranging property services. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. A parent or guardian who believes a child submitted information should contact us.
10. QuickBooks Online connection
Pest Arrest Command Center may connect to QuickBooks Online through Intuit's authorization process. We use connected accounting information to reconcile operational and accounting records, review invoices and payments, classify business activity, prepare internal reports, and support bookkeeping and tax administration. We limit access to the permissions needed for enabled features and do not sell QuickBooks information.
An authorized owner may disconnect the connection through Command Center, through the Intuit account's connected-app controls, or by contacting Pest Arrest. Disconnecting stops future access after Intuit revokes the authorization. Information already imported into Pest Arrest records may be retained when reasonably necessary for accounting, tax, fraud-prevention, backup, dispute, or legal obligations and may be deleted or de-identified when those obligations permit. Intuit's handling of information is governed by the Intuit Global Privacy Statement.
11. Google Maps Platform and other third-party services
To support internal scheduling, mapping, and route planning, Pest Arrest may transmit a customer's service address to Google Maps Platform solely for those purposes. We send only the address information needed for those functions. We do not send customer names, treatment details, or unrelated customer information to Google for mapping. Google's handling of information is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
Other third-party websites, customer portals, payment systems, social-media pages, and external links have their own privacy practices. We are not responsible for their independent practices.
12. Changes and contact
We may update this policy as technology, services, or law changes. The effective date above identifies the current version. Material changes will be posted through the website or customer portal.
